Seok-ho stood awkward but polite “I’m Yoon Seok-ho I handle media outreach”
“Nice to meet you” she said touching his arm just a little too long

Soo-jin practically jumped over the table
“You’re telling me she came into the department threw flirt-glitter all over Seok-ho and smiled at you like a Bond villain”
Ji-won sighed “It’s not a competition”
“She’s rich gorgeous and evil” Soo-jin said “Of course it’s a competition”
Just then Ji-won’s phone buzzed

Min-jun looked stressed pacing like a madman
“She’s here to sabotage me” he muttered “She’s charming your entire team She complimented the office plants Ji-won The plants I think I’m losing my edge”
Ji-won sat down calmly “You never had an edge”
He threw her a glare Then softened
“Okay maybe I didn’t But I trust you You’re the only one who doesn’t lie to me or smile just to get something”
Ji-won blinked That almost sounded sincere
“Don’t start getting real” she warned sipping her drink “You’ll confuse your rich-boy branding”
Min-jun chuckled But he didn’t take his eyes off her
And for a second Ji-won’s heart stumbled
